Biography

Prof. Asma A. Alothman is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, USA, in 2016. Her research focuses on advanced materials and nanotechnology, metal–organic frameworks, catalysis and photocatalysis, molecular precursor chemistry, radiation-assisted synthesis, chemical sensing, water purification, and sustainable materials. She currently serves as Assistant Vice Dean of the College of Science for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and holds several academic leadership and research roles. She has authored more than 200 research publications and has participated in over 40 national and international conferences.
